This fell under the romance category in audible and was fairly innocent. Well written and cute story.

I really enjoyed this book, it was sweet and light hearted, plus the story was told throughout from the male pov and this was the first time I had read a book like this Which actually made the whole story more enjoyable.

I really loved Jason, to be honest from the description of the book and Jason. I expected him to be arrogant and full of himself but he wasn't and I really liked the fact the relationship between Jason and Jaxon was cemented before you got to meet Jaxon's mum Addison and that the eventual relationship between Jason and Addison wasn't at all rushed. So if you like your Sports Romance sweet and lighthearted rather than hot and heavy this book is definitely for you.

This book is fantastic! I am a huge fan of the narration! I am now a fan of the author too, this was a first for me by M.E. Carter and it is not going to be my last.

I really fell for how Jason was as a person, him being a football player was well just icing.

I really liked how the whole book was in Jason’s POV, you get his authentic self. I really liked the step-dad, step-child relationship even if it came from left field. I think I like that the most. He wasn’t expecting his heart to be opened up like it was. Precious is what that is.

Addison being a recent widow had me wondering how this was all going to play out and I am really glad it when the way that it did. She didn’t swoon all over Jason she was her son’s protector and that made me like her all the more.

On to the next book in this series!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I really enjoyed this book. It was super sweet!! I love the step-dad & step-child relationship. It makes my heart melt every time. This book is almost completely written in from Jason's POV. Jason is a NFL player who knows one day he wants to settle down but not while his career is on top. Addison is a recent widow who just wants whats best for her son. Jaxson is a huge football fan and he is trying to cope with his father's death. The best thing about this book is the friendship between Jason & Jaxon. They have a connection from the time they meet. It's so cute and sweet and then comes the love story. I can't even explain how sweet all of these characters are together. It would be so hard not to fall for all three of them! This book had the perfect blend of sweet, emotional, sexy (ok maybe could have been a little sexier). These characters are the people I want in my life. I can't wait for book 2.

Jacob Morgan was fantastic in the audiobook. He truly was a perfect choice for this book, he was great for Jason, Jaxon and even Addison! Kirsten Leigh only did a very small part of this book but she was great when she did.

I really liked this book. It wasn't all alpha male, and the barbie doll. These were two believable characters with real body types, believable problems, and issues that were resolved in a normal amount of time, without all the theatrics. Everything a good book should be. Looking forward to Hart to Hart.

Zachary Webber is the voice, and as usual...he didn't disappoint. I loved his Jackson. <3
