I couldn’t get past the many really cringy and TMI phrases in the narrative and dialogue. Also I really disliked the narrator on the audiobook. I don’t know if directly reading it would have been better or not but I was not a fan. Also, men - and a CEO - knitting??

This book would honestly make a perfect Hallmark movie which is why while I enjoyed it, it didn't quite work for me in book format.

What can be better than having a wedding at Christmas? After reading these lovely books, even I would love to marry again at the sweet village of Wishing Tree, believe me!
The story is told between 4 characters; the two sisters Reggie and Dena Somerville and Toby and Micah; some very interesting characters that will make you smile through all the book, believe me!
But, possibly what I enjoyed most about the book is the brave and cute Great Dane, Belle, she even has her own dresses, can you imagine?
I really don’t want to make spoilers about the story; it’s romantic and sweet, full of Christmassy moments and family love; but I’ll re-read it again this December, this much I enjoyed it!
I think there are books that make you happy and see life with a rainbow; this book is one of these special cases, it makes you believe in good people and love.
This is a book I would recommend to anyone that wants to disconnect and have a warm heart after reading it; it’s so sweet! Are you ready to be one of the guests at “The Christmas Wedding Guest”?

This was a nice little story but OMG the number of times Reggie was shocked her mom waited up till 9:30 for her was ridiculous lol! I’m not sure if this was an official harlequin romance, but it sure read like one.

I love the characters Susan Mallery created in this book. The sisters, Reggie & Dena especially. I liked each of them plus the bond they have.
My favorite though is Belle Reggie’s dog. Her wardrobe of course plus her love she shows for Harrison.

I absolutely adored this small-town Christmas romance. The two female characters are sisters and they are both just so likable. They are independent, smart, bold women who are content with their lives and don't necessarily need a man to complete them. The male characters are sensitive and caring and you want to root for them to find happiness. The Christmas Wedding Guest was like getting two romance stories in one and was my favorite holiday read of the year! The chemistry in both relationships was evident and believable. There was a bit of humor as well as some unpredictable twists along the way. I will say the beginning was a bit repetitive for me but I read the entire book in only a few days. If you take longer to read a book, you might not be bothered by the repetitiveness.

Who should read- Although the storyline wasn't descriptive with spicy scenes, it had enough lustful words to make this more for adults. The language was mild. If you are a dog person this book is for you... the dogs are talked about a good amount and had cute personalities.

When should you read- The story's timeline starts right before Thanksgiving and goes up until Christmas. It's a great November/December read. I wanted to wrap up with a blanket by the fire with hot chocolate.
