This is the third installment in the Holly Hart cozy mystery series. In this book, Holly and town detective Trent are dating, but when a local realtor winds up dead Trent warns Holly not to get involved in the investigation, and tensions rise between the two of them. Meanwhile, Holly's arch-rival, Millicent, is also attempting to solve the murder, and she's making passes at Trent in the process. Holly and her club of readers & investigators work together to solve the mystery while Millicent tries to make Holly jealous and steal Trent away from her, and they discover some pretty shady secrets and real estate dealings in the process. This was another fun read in this series.
