I didn't see a lot of the twists and turns in this book, just like with the first. I find that unusual in a mystery and I love it for it. I'm looking forward to reading more work by Oscar de Muriel.

I got this not knowing there it was a sequel. Usually when that happens you feel like your jumping into the middle of something and your missing some details. Not here. I loved the story, the history meets paranormal. It was fast paced. Lots of action. I look forward to reading more of Nine-Nails and Frey.

The mystery was a little hard to follow with tons of people showing up at the right times when the plot demanded it, but the ending really made this book for me. I liked the fact that Frey and McGray's relationship was on the rocks and I can't wait to see if this will be explored more in the next book!
