This book was somewhat boring. The story is sweet but after having seen the movie version (Homeward Bound), I found it less interesting. Tao was my favorite character.

That was cute and heartwarming while also nail-biting at times. Could have sworn I've read it before but maybe I'm thinking of something else.

I forgot how good this book was. I just read it to my girls - the writing is beautiful and evocative. -

Beautiful story! Even though I knew the ending, I still teared up.

I hate to say it, but it did not hold up to the movie. Don't get me wrong, I think there's potential here but I didn't love the method of which the story was told.

While I hadn't expected this to be a "silent" story on the Trios part, it wasn't at all a problem thanks to Burnfords incredible insight and knowledge of how these specific breeds and species work. I would have preferred to know about the last leg of their journey versus the human pov we got instead, but its a small gripe when compared to the overall story.
