This was interesting! I always enjoy reading about Enola's various disguises. I'm having a lot of fun listening to these books.

Aaaaaahhhhh. The mystery was interesting and I enjoyed that it gave Enola the chance to use some new disguises and different skills, but what I loved most about this book was, again, her relationship to Sherlock Holmes.
I think it's fun how much she likes Watson despite not knowing him all that much, and that she struck up a friendship with Mrs Watson (even if none of the two actually know they were dealing with her).
Enola thinking about contacting Sherlock (even if finally she didn't need to) and him and makes me think that the two of them will work together at some point during the series and I can't wait to see it. Seeing them work against each other and together from afar, already fascinates and delights me, and I really want to see them do that face to face. I'm very satisfied that Sherlock comes to respect her more and more.

This series continues to intrigue me.
I’ve noticed some patterns beginning to emerge in the plotting, but it’s all fine for a book under 200 pages.
This one is milder in its wit and sarcasm than the previous two, which was disappointing since it’s one of the reasons I enjoyed the last two.
There’s a bit more angst and self-reflection in this one as well, which may resonate with young readers.
It probably could have been edited down further. There are several characters who needlessly summarize the mystery multiple times throughout the story.
There are more descriptions than the last two books, so if you enjoy reading about bodice fabrics, or the ornamentation on a barouche, then you’ll love it.
