While reading the book, I often didn't want to continue because there wasn't a proer plot it followed; not so much suspense. Therefore my motivation to continue reading was limited - especially because I had to read this book for school. 
But in the end I was positively surprised. It's great to learn more about apartheid and everything that was going on there. Due to the fact that it is from Trevor Noah's POV, it's not in a matter-of-fact way but more comprehensible and easy to follow. 
Overall I think I will remember this book and think about it every now and then.

Really interesting book but a challenging read. Challenges a lot of preconceptions I had about South Africa and its people. Glad I read it.
