LOVED this! This was a little out of my norm for romances but I’m so glad I took a chance because omg it didn’t disappoint! This story doesn’t have a typical hero. Jameson is a dick. Lol but man deep down he is a tender heart man who loves hard and you just have to dig deep to find it! And Emily was the woman to do it. I loved this story. I loved how much we got of Jamesons and Emily’s story! And I loved the little bit of mystery element we got as well! I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!

i really enjoyed this book. i listened to it via kindle & it was nice that it was dual narration.
the only thing i wish was different was the ending, it seemed slightly a bit rushed but i am happy with the way it ended! the book wasn’t what i was expecting but we love a fun time!
i enjoyed being able to be in the head of both of the main characters since there was so much tension and chasing involved. it was nice to see how they really felt. good read.

Není to vyloženě špatné, ale takových knížek je tu spousta a tahle nepřináší nic nového.

Everything about this couple was delightfully toxic. I thought to myself more than once, “How is there that much of this book left??? What more could possibly happen? And more importantly, how many more ways can they phrase this same argument?” There wasn’t a single chapter without some sort of glaringly obvious red flag, and yet I couldn’t put it down. Don’t even get me started on John Jim Jacob Jay Jingleheimer Jameson Schmidt. This book was the embodiment of that “gots to see it through my boy” meme.

There’s romance, intrigue, and underlying Nancy Drew-esque mystery subplot towards the end. Definitely read it for the lols.

*listened to as an audiobook* This was SO well written. The fact that the girl was the dirty talker, the amount of smut, and the couple’s storyline were all *chef’s kiss*. I did feel that the work drama storyline was a bit lacking, but that was a minor part. I could not stop listening to this book. I’ve already started the second one!!

This was too damn long and the male lead also frustrated me at times. I appreciate that our female lead did what was right by here and didn’t cave in to everything he requested. I also really loved the side characters which is probably the main reason why I’d be interested in continuing this series.
