I got this as an Audible freebie to see if I'd like the series, but found the writing bland and the plot conventionally boring. Not for me.

Short story, belonging to a series about a female police officer from Manchester. I enjoyed the British accents of the audio book, the story was rather meh. Not very exciting. Doesn't compel me to have a closer look at the series.

Super short story but it gives you a feel for Jessica Daniel as a character. I'm definitely going to read more of these books!
