Enjoyable male lead and no cliffhanger.
The plot was a bit slow though.
Just one question: Who gives away their phone so easily? Also, why didn't she ask just for the lady to take her phone and then ditch it?

This book felt a little different from the others in this series. It had way more suspense which was done very well. Mark was a fun, riotous hero while Charlie was full of sass and bad-assery. Their chemistry and lust for each other happens quickly, but the rest takes time to figure out. And there is a lot of action and drama in between them figuring it all out. All the twists and turns made me not want to put this down. Mark isn’t my favorite hero, but he is definitely the most fun! The narrators executed all the fun and all the suspense perfectly. It was a very exciting listen.
