Prince Caspian In 11 Itens.
1. This book is the living proof that humans are hopeless. I mean, even in NARNIA we manage to somehow fuck everything up.
2. The man beating a boy got turned into a tree and the boy pretty much pointed and laughed, how amazing is that?
3. When is Aslan coming with this army of animals to save us from ourselves?
4. Did Lucy and Susan get back to our world through the entire battle scene and it wasn't mentioned or what? Because they were certainly not fighting "with the boys"

My tradition of a yearly dive into Narnia continues.
I first read the Chronicles of Narnia some 40 years ago and I've been reading at least one of them every year for the past 30. I have no set pattern or order in which I read or re-read them, I just grab the one that feels right at the time. It means that I might go a few years without reading any one individual book but as a system it's always worked for me.
Prince Caspian is one of the series I don't read that often, unlike the big four as I call them (MN, LWatW, SC, and LB), and I'm not really sure why because I really enjoy it when I do. That said the speed with which it finishes always leaves me a little surprised and a bit deflated. It feels rushed in some way.
I wonder which book I'll choose next.
