While I love Sarah Morgan's writing, this one was a bit meh for me. I enjoyed it, but the stakes just didn't seem there throughout for me. Still, it's a great Christmas/festive season read, and so perfect for that time of the year to curl up with next to a roaring fire

It took me a while to warm up to this story, but once it gets going it is so heartwarming. And I adore all the references to historical romances and the Scottish Highland setting - I so wish I was there right now!

Fab fab fab. Definitely a great Christmas book. I read this one back in October, so not quite Christmas time, but it got me reading for the festive season :)

Samantha and Ella don't see their mum. They live in the US. They spend Christmas together every year. Samantha is a workaholic, Ella is a stay at home mum with a young daughter. Mum, Gayle, is also a workaholic and not family oriented or Christmassy. Soooo, let's throw them all together for a few weeks at Christmas in Scotland.

The usual Christmas fare from Sarah Morgan, one you will fly through. It was funny and sweet and endearing and I wish I could read it again. I mean I probably will, but I mean read it again fresh.

I loved all the characters and I thought Gayle was really realistic and genuine. She absolutely was trying and the girls, once receptive, really tried their hardest too. Basically everyone wanted the family to work out and so it did. A few bumps and a romance along the way.

Recommended to festive readers and Sarah Morgan fans.

I received an eARC courtesy of HQN & NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This is my first journey into the works of Sarah Morgan & I am officially a fan. I thoroughly enjoyed the family drama combined with light romance. I loved the flawed characters, the Scottish setting, the Christmas motif, the charming Tab, the lovable Mary & so much more. Just absolutely lovely.

For libraries: You can't go wrong adding this your library collection, especially if you have readers clamoring for more seasonal romances.

Hach, was nett!

Another fantastic Christmas book from Sarah Morgan. She has this amazing ability to bring the complex family ties to life. The good, the bad and the uncomfortable. You can't help but be captivated by Sarah's beautiful writing style and her ability to bring Christmas to life.
