overall a fun time! feels like a watered down version of the odd couple, which kinda makes sense seeing as he wrote that one literally two years later. a bit of misogyny but it was of the time so it didn’t impact my enjoyment much. i just love neil simon’s style

I think this is the funniest Neil Simon play I've ever read. An exaggerated-but-hilarious slide of what happens when a free-spirit marries a nine-to-fiver, and when newlywed optimism turns into real-life experience.

Short, cute read. The audio is a performance and the actors did a really great job. Glad I picked it up during an Audible promotion.

An American classic comedy. It's a little dated, but still pretty entertaining. The audiobook I listened to had Laura Linney as Corie, and I think it was a perfect match.

و به طرز خوشایندی سورپرایز شدم! فکر می کنم اولین نمایشنامه ای بود که بدون این که از جایم بلند شوم تمام کردم
کوتاه است و وقت زیادی نمی گیرد اما شخصیت ها به طرز عجیبی زنده و اتفاق های روزمره هیجان انگیز می شوند. بعید است موقع خواندن این شخصیت ها شمارا یاد خورتان یا ادم های اطرافتان نیدازند
اگر به اندازه ی من در کادو گرفتن این کتاب خوش شانس نیستید پیشنهاد می کنم حتما آن را بخرید تا لااقل با خواندنش خوش شانس باشید
حتی اگر مثل من نمایش نامه دوست ندارید
