Meh. Not bad, but just kinda ~okay~ in my opinion.

Great book. Don't think I'd bother with the movie though.

to be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed by this book. I might have "set myself up for failure" in a sense. I thought this book was going to be such a quick read for me, but it REALLY wasn't. just felt like some scenarios and things were a bit overexplained when they didn't have to be, hence why the whole story got a little boring at times. but, I will say, that if you're looking for a slower-paced story, just about average people that you can relate to and slowly grow a love for, this should be something you pick up! it made me laugh out loud many times, and Marcus was a sweetheart the whole way through, just trying to make a sense of life in general and it was heartwarming and also heartbreaking at times. okay, I'm just gonna wrap this up with "would ultimately recommend to a friend!" :)

You’ll only hear Hugh Grant’s voice in your head.
