Emphasized on building on your unique strengths. Encouraged being authentic with God and others. I liked part about God being more interested in our motives than having perfect attendance at church. I liked the renewing your mind section and example from cat and dog diary. Talked about how our temptations correlates with our gifts, I think my pattern is artist, server, and peacemaker, I liked RAGS example of putting off old self. I think this book should be read at least once a year

Tried giving this a second chance after I had time to forget what it was like. Really wish I hadn't. The few redeemable tidbits buried within (and the quoting of interesting people) don't make digging through the bulk of this to find them worth it.
