A few really good stand out stories here. Asimov flexes his talents for a surprise ending/twist many times here.

Interesting stories about early robots, technology development, aliens/other galactic residents, and improving computation abilities.

I'm not usually a sci-fi fan but I am absolutely blown away by these stories. Philosophical, thought provoking, some even had my crying! An absolute must read for everyone.

I am a filthy, filthy rotten liar. I never read this book, and I'm too lazy to figure out how to delete it. If you are reading this expecting a hearty review, I'm sorry to disappoint. Shame on me. Shame.

I have read many short story collections from many different authors, Sci-Fi and otherwise. Usually, I am happy to find two or three gems in the whole collection while I feel I have to slog my way through the rest. Not so with this collection! I am happy to report that there is not a single dud here. And, in fact, some of my all time favorite short stories are included.

I confess to not being an Asimov super fan. Most of his novels are OK, although don't seem to withstand the test of time too well. So it was with some trepidation that I approached this volume. The book begins with Dr Asimov's introduction where he describes his hits and misses regarding his attempts to incorporate his predictions of the future. This is truly enjoyable to read. And the stories are spot on. Each is thought provoking, just as quality science fiction should be. I highly recommend you give this one a try!
