Actually I think this is one of the better books you have to read for your class. I´m really into greek mythology, so maybe thats why I found myself enjoying this little tragedy, but all in all there were some interesting points of view about the "weaker sex" and marriage. It´s fun to discover differences and similarities to todays opinions.

I would rather stand three times with a shield in battle than give birth once.
This line suits r/childfree much better than 401BC Athens. Apart from infidelity, Medea's story eerily reminds me of dictators and their henchmen. I have never heard of anyone who willingly kills for others and yet come to have a happy ending.
