Very charming zine of library-themed pulp stories.

Victoria Dexter and the Mechanical Library, by Irina Jevlakova, is a steampunk-esque story about a mechanical library machine which begins to outgrow its creators. The shortest of the stories, it establishes some interesting imagery though it doesn't have long to develop.

Meta Danger, by Adena Brons, is a fun thriller about a librarian who attempts to hide a book with the power to transform the reader's life in the library's cataloguing system; after a stranger cracks the code and steals the book, the library's librarians must chase it down again.

The Midnight Library, by editor Matthew Murray, is a The Shadow-like radio play script about a pair of librarians attempting to solve a murder inside the ultimate source of knowledge: the mysterious Midnight Library.

Shelf Harm, by Anna Ferri, is the highlight of the zine to me, a story of cosmic horror about a librarian whose life begins detaching from reality after she unwittingly comes into contact with a predatory book.

What a fabulous zine! I love the library-focused content and the pulpy look and feel of it. Highly recommend.
