liked this slightly better than the first one. toby's arc was super interesting, and though i definitely prefer his tv counterpart, i think this book has him being the most complex pll character so far.

it's a shame that they killed him off immediately!

Lots of problems start for Hanna, Emily, Aria, and Spencer along with “A” being more involved in their lives. Hanna starting her drama with her dad, honestly can’t stand him.  Just let Hanna have some peace dude. Spencer’s parents really shine in this book.  It’s almost laughable with how cruel they are for such stupid reasons.  And yet Spencer still manages to mess everything up for herself.

Aria’s dad falling back into old habits and this time Mike is let in on the secret too which ends as well as you would think. Emily and her trusting nature is honestly kinda impressive to be that level of delusional.  Though her parents being the way they are it’s not all that surprising.  At least she came to terms a bit with the feelings she had towards Ali.
