Few books manage to grip my attention this strongly, so the fact that this one kept me up all night and occupied my thoughts all day long till I could finish it is proof enough of the strength of its pacing and writing. 
Some story elements would have me scoff at in any other books but Rory's words are so real it was even hard for me not to believe in them. 

Lesser Known Monsters hit a lot of things I seek in my readings and rendered it one of my favourite read this year. Lovely cast, I'm looking forward to book 2 and get more familiar with the world building.
