Oh my, this book was a fucking ride and I think it's my favorite in the series?? It's complicated because all the previous books are great.
The Cornerstone is Shannon's book and I was really looking forward to it because she is one of my favorite characters. In general, it was beautiful, super emotional, heartbreaking in some parts, but very sweet in others and really fucking hot. It was a roller coaster of emotions to be in Shannon's shoes.
And when Will calls her Peanut, perfection.

I'm falling more in love with this series with each book. The dynamic between the FMC & MMC is *chef's kiss* perfection.

The books leading up to this place the FMC on a high pedestal and almost make her a fire-breathing dragon but I loved how this insight into her past and current thoughts humanized her.

I didn't realize I could be more upset at certain characters despite their absence but I was definitely pressed when I found out more about what has happened in the past.

Thankfully the MMC is just the right person to help the FMC work through some of her painful past and grow into her future.
