Last Known Location. Amazing. Simply an amazing ending. Gwen, girl you are wicked. I can not wait for Noah’s next story. Wow.
The writer did a phenomenal job with holding out some much. The story coaxed the reader of coming to their conclusion, only to get hit with the writer dropping multiple bombs of the real truth in the end. I was absolutely in shocked. I had a mouth drop. My reaction was only to laugh, because I so did not expect that ending.
The writer did a wonderful job of entertaining with a darn good who done it story. This was a one sitting read for me. I give this story two snaps and a, “ Adam in some ways you were smart. Run man! Run. “ Until next time my fellow readers. Read on! I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book is full of twists and turns which makes you question everything as the story goes. I was hooked into the story very easily!

The story is told in multiple POVs which really help the readers get insight of how the plot progresses;  from the police side, the main character side and also the villain.
Easy to read writing style, well pacing and the short chapters enable me to read this book in just one day cause it was so hard to put down!

There are so many twists throughout this story, some of them really caught me off guard a couple times because it was totally unexpected.
Every character in this story is very suspicious except maybe for the police. It was hard to know whose POV you can trust but that’s what make this book a good one!

Overall, this is a well written story – highly enjoyable, entertaining and recommended!
If you’re looking for a quick psychological thriller with a small town setting then I suggest picking this one up.
I’m looking forward to read more books by this author in the future!

I received an advanced review copy for free through Netgalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Huge thank you to the author and publisher!

A gripping thriller that twists and turns and keeps you guessing!

Last Known Location sets out to be a stalker based thriller and expands on this premise exponentially. Eva MacKenzie keeps up the intensity whilst evolving the story in unexpected fashion! The entirety of the book is shrouded in mystery and a tense, unrelenting atmosphere.

The characters are fantastic in this novel. Gwen is really likeable and will gain your sympathy from the get go. Throughout the book you will share her experiences and feel her emotions. The supporting cast of characters do an excellent job of padding the novel out and none of them feel anything like being, for lack of a better term, ‘plonked’ into the story. Each has a reason for being and this becomes apparent the more chapters you devour.

Last Known Location is a brilliant mystery thriller, rife with betrayal, emotional pain and murder! Eva MacKenzie has a hit on her hands with this!

This was a pretty darn good read. It did take me a bit to get into it, but once I did, my interest was piqued. I honestly had no idea who the villain was as there were a couple of decent hypotheses running through my head. I did not see the ending coming. It made me a bit sad, but such is the life of a reader.

It took a bit to get into, the back and forth of prior events to the current situation was initially confusing.
I thought Gwen's issues with Adam would have been more prominent and then the twist at the end felt too contrived for the picture we'd been painted. But then it also felt like all of the events of the book were leading up to this revelation.
I feel like the end showed Gwen in a new, unflattering light and the book could have ended differently, but it was definitely unexpected and that's always a good thing.
The rest of the mystery about Noah was well done.
This was a good read.
I received a copy via BookSirens. All opinions are my own.

Last known location was a quick read and all together a great book.

Gwen has a hard time moving past a relationship with her ex-Adam. He seems to be everywhere she seems to be, which is likely given their field of work and their small town that they live in. Gwen meets Noah, a mysterious guy one night while camping out on Appalachian trail, then again, a few nights later while on her shift in the emergency room. Gwen feels obligated and fascinated with her new friend Noah who suffers from amnesia and secretly hopes for more as she gives him a place to stay and helps during his recovery.

Mystery surrounds Noah’s accident when another body is found on the trail, and an unfamiliar face shows up claiming to be in close relation to Noah.

I have to say I was actually surprised by the ending and look forward to future work from this author.

I had so much fun reading this story. The pacing is perfect, and I found myself not wanting to put it down. I wasn't realizing how much I had actually read each sitting because you just get sucked into the story from the start.

This book is told through 3 viewpoints, Gwen, a local cop and a PI. I liked how easy it was to follow and how things were laid out. Each POV adds so much. I really enjoyed watching the story unfold in the alternating perspectives and getting to know the characters through each.

There are also side characters that come into play that were seamlessly interwoven into the storyline. The author does such a great job.

This book is full of twists and turns that will leave you guessing until the very end. This book gets intense and will keep you at the edge of your seat. And THAT ENDING! What!?

This was my first book by this author, and I've heard her other books are very good as well. I'm going to be checking into those asap.
