This book was sad but also inspiring.  I understood the author’s frustration and sadness.  I felt saddened by her experience.  When she was angry, I wanted to hug her, put her head on my shoulder and ask her not to be so angry.  I’m not judging, everyone’s journey is their own.

I loved this book. It’s about assisted/accompanied suicide and Alzheimer’s, but really it’s a love story. It gives you a vibrant understanding of the author’s relationship with her husband that is much more complex and vivid than most love stories I’ve read. Of course it’s also unbelievably sad, but also fascinating to learn about their experience. I’m so glad they were able to choose what was best for their family. Ultimately her description of her husband’s death was comforting. It’s a death that most of us don’t even think is really possible.

Genuinely such a good book, almost cried from start to finish and did read it in 2 days… only issue is that the writing came up so strange on my kindle (like a paragraph break in the middle of words…) but that might be why it was cheaper than another version, so self inflicted.
