This was a good book. It flowed nicely and the steamy scenes were definitely steamy. I expected the “issue” to arrive about halfway through the novel, it was towards the end. Which is okay, if you don’t mind finishing the last three chapters in one sitting.

I was expecting a character to pop in but they never did, I’ll have to see if they pop in, in book three.

Oh I absolutely loved Rafe and Persephone story!! I didn't even realize I was near the end until I had finished!! Persephone, hiding from her cousin ends up being Elizabeth and Anna's governess.. No one knows her true identity.. she meets Rafe and their friendship is rocky at first because she's weary of any man after she was forced upon at her last governess job.. Through it all both Rafe and Persephone fall in love!! I love how the Winter's and Sutton's pull together to help their families!!

Persephone is the new governess for the couple in the first book in the series. When Rafe Sutton, her employer's brother awakes in her bed, he's very confused, not because he isn't attracted to the woman but because he can't remember how he got there. But Persephone has schemes of her own and she needs to keep Rafe out of her plans and her life, at least until she reaches her majority.
Rafe and Persephone are steamy together, and I enjoyed their banter as she tries to put him off while he's determined to do right by her. I did think the ending fell flat (not the romance but the plot). Still, it's a satisfying and fun read.
