I liked this book. The duke never does anything particularly heinous, unlike Lucien in the first book. His feelings were believable. It was sweet seeing Jane become more comfortable in her unwanted marriage and herself. I loved how she learns stand up for herself and her interests.
Moderate: Body shaming, Sexual content, Violence, Vomit, Kidnapping, Alcohol, and Injury/Injury detail

What I liked:
- Harrison’s obsession, I love how down bad he was for her! It was so cute. It definitely took a while to get to that side of him, but once we got there, he was adorable. I wish we knew how he felt about her beforehand though. There are hints that he felt protective toward her before the events of this book too.
- Jane’s acceptance of herself, it was really beautiful to see her become comfortable with herself and be more confident.
What I didn’t like:
- Over complicated, things between the couple felt drawn out and over complicated for no real reason? It was frustrating to watch and made the second half of the book feel like it was dragging.
Graphic: Bullying, Sexual content, and Kidnapping
