This is a fantastic little book. I don’t think Cephalonegativity can be explained by any kind of reasoning. Any attempts that I make to verbalize my thoughts about it will be completely pointless. The form is so experimental, and it’s contents so outlandish, that no analysis could do justice to the contents of this book. This is a stageplay reminiscent of the idiosyncratic, bizarre nature of Beckett’s works and the gory religious hellscape of Hamletmachine (and as a result, Shakespeare). Yet, somehow, the style is completely unique and purely original. It is really and truly a “theater of decap!tation,” as it is about a head that has been separated from its body, a body that has been separated from its head, and the all-encompassing “M.” I was particularly affected by the ideas of death and birth; taking something apart, investigating what makes it incomplete, and reforming it into a perfect creation.
