I had no idea what to expect going into this book. It's just a little children's book but that said, it's adorable and touched my heart deeply in ways... Very sweet and I will likely try to read more from this series. I was extremely surprised at how much I enjoyed this. ❤️

I was babysitting a six-year-old and she wanted me to read this to her. I know that this is the kind of book that I would have loved as a kid. Obviously, as a teenager, the entertainment comes from the kids laughter when you read it out loud. It's a cute book for young kids but not one of those children s books that are equally entertaining for adults.

These are terrific fun for a six year old and his mama! (Especially since we have a Bad Kitty of our own!)

This was a cute little illustrated novel that brings the picture book character of Bad Kitty into chapter books. There are many many illustrations and the story alternates with fun facts about cats.

I didn't particularly enjoy the book, but I can see children picking it up and loving everything about it. It's a great early chapter book, a good book for reluctant readers, it's funny, and it has illustrations (which really is all the rage in chapter books at the moment).

I'm kind of amused by the picture book [b:Bad Kitty|690955|Bad Kitty|Nick Bruel|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1177275747s/690955.jpg|682105], so I thought I'd give this chapter book featuring this same kitty a try, curious about how well it would translate from one format to another. This chapter book is very dependant on its illustrations so in a lot of ways it reads like a black-and-white picture book. Unfortunately, the story just doesn't work for me. The facts about cats interspersed throughout the book are interesting and Bad Kitty's breakdown at the end and eventual reuniting with his mother are fun enough, but otherwise the story is tedious and tries just a little too hard. Newly independent readers (especially those who have seen and enjoyed the picture book) might be less discerning, but this isn't anywhere on my "To Recommend" list.

This book is a really enjoyable book for people who like cats. It's also a good book to give to younger readers to help them build their confidence in reading and for older folks who don't really want to spend a lot of time reading longer, more complex novels. I'd even go so far as to say this is a good book for people who aren't native English speakers to use when working on their English language skills, to help them with practicing their English based literacy.

I discovered Bad Kitty when my coworker found a picture book about him. Today a student brought us this book to read and it is HILARIOUS. My favorite part was Chatty Kitty who never stops "talking" and the writer provides a translation for all of her MEOWS! Wonderful for kids and cat lovers of all ages!
