This is really well written and super intricate and I LOVE Japanese folklore but for some reason this was not a compelling read. I didn't have a connection with any of the characters so it fell a bit flat for me and I struggled to get it finished. It gets a 3 because it wasn't a bad book, it just wasn't for me.

This was fantastic continuation of this series. I love the setting, the characters are wonderfully written and complex, and the writing is great. It did take me a little while to get into, as I should have reread the first book to give myself a refresher but I still loved this book so much. I highly recommend this book/series.
