Looks gorgeous, and the huge size and old-fashioned hand-drawn art make this a book to notice.
Unfortunately the information content is really sparse, and the Finnish edition is riddled with silly little errors. This is good for smaller children; older children will benefit more from something more heavy information.

I picked up this book, thinking I could briefly flip through it. But it turned out, it was really difficult to put down! It’s full of beautiful illustrations, charts, and diagrams all under an aesthetically pleasing color scheme! A great resource for students who are wanting more knowledge about animals, or even just a fun book to have out on your coffee table!

Read it with my son and we both loved it. The illustrations are beautiful and all the animal facts were interesting to read.

An excellent edition of this series. I'm so glad the Welcome to the Museum series exists, all the books are fantastic.
On a personal note, I did not enjoy the sliced up shark (to show the inside details), and the koala is nowhere as cute as a real koala, also I would have liked a bit more information, including why some of the animals are named what they're named, plus more about where/when the live(d), but these are just minor quibbles.
