This is an adorable cozy Sapphic fantasy romance - but that doesn't mean the personal stakes aren't high! The romance was so cute and I adored these characters. Love a good mysterious cat companion.
This is like most cozy fantasies - you have to be willing to just relax and let the charm overtake you. Because it's such a short read and a standalone, the plot has to move pretty quickly and while there are some great character growth moments, they're quick as well.

Adorable, cozy read. Loved the sapphic romance. Very low stakes, but that wasn’t the point. The king and queen’s motivation at the end seemed to make no sense, but it was such a delightful journey up to that point I didn’t mind.
