Kind of a meh... After the huge cliff-hanger of Changes, I was expecting something more dramatic to the plot of the over-arching story, and this was a bit...insular, I guess. Liked the perspective of this book, but it could have been more impressively rendered and used to HD's advantage. Really liked Molly in this book, and her relationship to Dresden, Murphy was kind of annoying, Butters is kick-ass, and fun to see Morty turn into a bigger character. Can't wait to read the next book to *SEMI-BUT-PREDICTABLE SPOILER ALERT FOR END OF BOOK* see how Harry puts his life back together again. (Whaaaat? Harry comes back to life?? But there are supposed to be at least 7 more books after Ghost Stories!)

My least favourite book in this series. And it has nothing to do with the prose. Brilliantly written.
I am not Demi Moore and it is not pottery studio. Sorry not sorry. Molly have not deserved any of this.

After reading a wrong-headed and completely off-base wank on the internet about how evil this series and Jim Butcher is, I got so annoyed I immediately went to Amazon and pre-ordered this latest volume. And I'm so glad I did. This latest chapter in the crazy existence of Harry Dresden was one of the strangest, twistiest, and most unexpected in a very long time. In many ways, it felt like a reboot, and maybe in some way was Butcher's attempt to give himself some fresh things to write about. Whatever the reason, I loved every bit of this crazy story. I'm just reserving one star because I have no idea where to from here, and I'm slightly skeptical about where some of the characters were left off. Otherwise, another great book!

Such a twist that you kind of saw coming, but weren't sure how exactly it would play out. Loved the progression and changes in Dresden and his cohorts. Some great new characters too!

So, Harry is dead and is haunting his friends. He's trying to find his killer and save everyone from the corpse taker. This was a good follow-up to Changes, which was excellent.

Damn, the first half of this one was tedious. Too much reflection blah blah blah. It did pickup. But I was hoping after changes we would just see a whole new, fresh start on things in many ways. Nope.
