I am really enjoying this manga so far. Though the story seems to move a bit fast and feels obvious at times and some of the dialogue feels forced , I found the story itself to be enjoyable and really liked the art style. The author did a good job of writing characters that are complex in their anxieties and the way they interact without utilizing a ton of miscommunication. I am intrigued to see how the characters move forward but the fragmented nature of the story is momentarily confusing.

un yuri avec des moments adorables mais aussi avec des sujets profonds et sérieux. je suis hyper contente d'avoir découvert ce manga. j'ai hâte de voir les personnages grandir. j'espère qu'elles auront leur bonheur.

I didn't really like the character design, but the art and paneling was good otherwise imo. multiple memorably moments.

the narrative urge to make this man the worst possible man + most openly worse man is kinda wild to me. so heavy handed. kinda uninteresting?
the backstory + explicit motivation for being unkind to women also really sucks. I feel like most people don't hold supremacist beliefs mimicking those of the dominant culture because some oppressed person was mean to them once. deeply frustrating. this dude is so evil he's gotta have a specific villain origin story to... differentiate him from other men? humanize him? flesh him out as a character? I'm actually not sure what the point of it is (would have to think more about this) as the origin story presented is presumably relatively common. Making him both comically evil and a character with depth and backstory is confusing to me.
I guess.... folks really not being able to see abuse for what it is is legit. <3 In order for it to be less comical though, to me, it needs to be protracted. More time spent on Midori's emotional pain & goals, more time spent on the social pressure to be with/emotional release of being with Tonoike.

Doumyou seemed like a badass homosexual when first introduced, but she appears to be both straight and in possession of incredibly poor taste. rip. she can redeem herself by snitching on Tonoike in order to get Midori out of this relationship and confirming that she's bi.
I wish I believed in you, Doumyou.

I love how many random named characters there are? maybe this is fully reader error, because I tend to be bad at remembering names/faces, but it's so cool that Maki is immediately shown to have a lovely twitter friend, and everyone has multiple named coworkers. idk, this world feels very real and nice.
EXCEPT FOR THE FACT THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE PICKING UP ON THIS MAN'S COMICALLY BAD VIBES. IDK ABOUT THAT PART. SUSPENSION OF DISBELIEF WHILE WAITING FOR THE OTHER SHOE TO DROP IS A NON-ZERO AMOUNT OF EFFORT.

sorry again, I do know that abuse can genuinely be difficult to discern. DIFFERENT WAYS TO WRITE SUCH AN OCCURRENCE THOUGH, HOPEFULLY.
they could be going something interesting with this specific depiction actually! I doubt it though.

I should probably read literally any other "i still wanna date my first crush from 10 years ago" comic, but this is the only one I'm aware of so alas, I'll probably read the next one.
