Chose this on a whim and the book cover design. Unexpectedly cried and liked the characters, feeling the emotions like the main character -- upset and angry and distrusting to sad and hopeful and inspired. There's a twist.

This is one of those books that will make you feel just about every emotion. Anger, sadness, love, happiness, etc. I just loved and adored this book.

I absolutely despised Adam at the beginning but now I love him. Huge character development 👏🏼. I love how strong Jess is through everything and I just adore William. I highly recommend. 🥰

This one felt a little like the author was trying too hard to invent a story around a topic. I struggled to connect with these characters and part of that may have been the devastating subject matter of fatal genetic disease but overall this one was just a bit “blah” for me with regards to the characters and the storyline.

Initially I thought this was just going to be a sappy, quick, beach read but it was so much more than that. I fell in love with the characters and the plot was much more complex than originally presumed. The ending was definitely a tear jerker. This book is just the right amount of light and serious, happy and sad.
