Wow! This book belongs in every library, every classroom, and every home. The art is amazing and it is truly written for those of us who were born to read. This is truly a must have book.

Not sure how I missed this before. This is a book that needs to be savored; it would be fun to speculate why Jeffers chose the books and passages that are used. It's jolting-- a good kind of jolt-- when all of a sudden there is the beautiful page in full color.

No. As a picture book this fails. As a book that shows how much the author and the characters and the reader loves books, it also fails. It is unreadable. The text from other books is overwhelming but uncompelling. The font on the writing is almost illegible. The art itself is actually okay. And the writing itself is fine. But the rest of the package of the book was too annoying to get past.

This is basically a book about the need to read more books and there is really nothing wrong with it,. Sometimes people just need a reminder that creativity is important and it should be shown in any way possible, specifically to the children.

I mean I like it because I'm an avid reader with a pulse. But I also wonder about the audience for it. It's almost like a coffee-table picture book if such a thing exists.
