Darynda Jones still trying to patch up plot holes that she left in last Charley Davidson's book.
This novella covers Amber & Quentin.
Not bad, I wish it was a full book, so everything was better developed.

Love the Charley Davidson universe and this was a nice follow up with two characters I hardly remember since I finished this series many years and books ago.

I liked the story, but I would have liked it to have been a bit more rounded in that the plot took a lot of development time away from Quentin and Amber’s reunion and discussion around the second chance at a relationship.

Nothing extreme in this one, I do love how these novellas are building up the bridge for the continuation

This novella packs quite a punch! I’m a huge Charley Davidson fan and was thrilled to read about the all grown up Amber and Quentin! This little nugget was packed full of everything I have come to love about Darynda Jones’s writing!

All I have to say is PLEASE write us a series about BEEP!!

I miss this world so much.
I loved seeing Amber and Quentin again. Seeing how they’ve grown & changed was fascinating.

This story was pretty good considering it was pretty short. I wish we had more page time with the main characters. There was a lot of back story to be explained. However, when the characters did finally get on the same page I really enjoyed the story.

Enjoyable short story. Not sure I like the time jump from the Book 13 of the series. It may be that I need to re-listen to it. Lorelei did a fabulous job with the voices as usual.
