This was such a delight, if you know me you’ll know I love the nighttime and specifically walking in the city at night, so I was excited to walk through London’s nighttime with Sandhu. My friend had to read this for their master’s and when I saw the title I was like WHAT IS THAT. so thank you Emily :)
It was sensory and atmospheric (a word I seem to use every review), a dark and lyrical approach to a city and its people. Some of the most eloquent and deliberate writing I’ve ever read. Although oddly enough there were some glaring typos in the last chapter. Snapshots of a city, in all its ugliness and glamour - how can we take everything so for granted?
