You don’t have to like the guy. He doesn’t like himself either. But his writing is damn entertaining

Raw, Filthy, and confusing. This book takes a little bit to pick up but it's worth the read if you like stream of consciousness type deals. I enjoyed this but not as much as the poetry. I took off a few stars for what felt like lack of organization.

Very misogynistic. But some passages and stories I liked. He's a good writer, but just seems like an asshole.

The first Bukowski book I've read. I enjoyed some of the stories and the writing surprised me. Vulgar and no fucks given.
