Loved Frankie's character and the wild story that starts off this book, it was a really fun read.

I didn’t know what this was about prior to starting it. I just know I liked Things We Never Got Over by this author and I saw a recommendation for this book on Booktok.
I didn’t like the kidnap plot at the wedding or the entire wedding portion at the beginning. I read a book where the story centered around a wedding earlier this year-a YA called Save the Date and HATED it-so I think I’ve been put off by any book where there’s a wedding.
I also didn’t like the relationship and how it started between Aiden and Frankie. It just felt gross and grimey.
Aiden was a bore; little to no personality. I liked Frankie’s personality but it wasn’t enough to save the book in my opinion. It was probably the only thing I liked about the book. She was tough and nonchalant and didn’t let dumb things phase her.
Also, the title literally didn’t fit with the story at all; Aiden wasn’t a bad best man by any means so I don’t know why this book was named that way.
Lastly, the smut was a little too much for me. There’s a time and place for everything and this one was just A LOT. Like it’s all these people ever thought about and that got really annoying.

Couldn’t put it down!

I have been in a reading slump for a while, and this book was just the pick me up! Aiden is everything!

A solid five star billionaire romance? Who'd a thunk it! So nice to have a male character who isn't a one dimensional dickhead and a female character who fucks up and then apologises.

I love some of Lucy Score’s other work but the last two I’ve picked up have just been a bit disappointing. This was too long for no reason, the FMC was basically “I’m not like other girls” and almost all other women were poorly portrayed, and this had too much going on and the wedding wasn’t even 30% of the book.

What you expect..cute and over the top

Aiden is to good to be true and Frankie is a tough cookie. You have to accept the fantasy that a strong woman like Frankie is okay with being in a fleeting relationship in order to enjoy the rest of the book. It has vibes of Maggie moves on but with a stunning rich man. Smile through the cheesy and enjoy love!

Another perfect 4 stars from Ms. Score

I need to stop doubting that even though the subject matter doesn't seem to be my thing, that the book won't interest me. If Score writes it, I love it. This book was delightful. Frankie and Aiden were great together. They were definitely a trope--billionaire and mere peasant--but written in a refreshing way.

Aiden wasn't a stalker. He may have wanted to pay for things because he has the money, but he didn't push it, over the top. Frankie may have wanted to stand on her own two feet, but she gave in enough to let Aiden spoil her a little.

I loved the scenes dealing with the kidnapping. I laughed so hard. I absolutely adored Frankie's brothers relationship with Aiden. They let him right in, and he was so starved for that "normal". They made him part of their family, regardless of Frankie, and that just melted me.
