This was the most unbelievable and one of the worst books I’ve ever read.

Not knowing any of the background on this book, I read it when I was in middle school - a looooong time ago. And I loved it. I never believed it was real, I thought it was made up - all of it. I didn't realize that some crazy woman had taken a real teenage boy's journal and added a bunch of baloney to it. I just found that out a few minutes ago by reading many of the reviews. Of course that puts a whole new spin on it for me. But just the same, when I was that young kid oh so many years ago reading this book for the first time, I was totally enthralled. No, it's not great literature, but it was a good story. I still remember it. Wow, I had no idea any real people had gotten hurt in publishing of this book. If it helps, I bought it at a second hand store.

It was a great companion to "Go ask Alice". I like how it didn't really focus on the drugs but more on the subject of magic/wiccan/occult.

I feel bad putting “read” because I didn’t finish, it was so bad to me I couldn’t keep going. This doesn’t sound anything like a teen wrote it either.
