I love the musical (I need to see it live) and I received this book as a gift
It's the script for the musical, and it's a great further introduction to the characters, and also a great way to learn the lyrics to the songs.
The story itself is quite basic, but it's much more character drawn than plot and I love that. I love the realism and the fact that not everything is perfect, I love how emotion this is.

4.5 stars. Kinda cliche but so so cute and I was actually super into how dark they were willing to go and how relatable they could make it. And the music is crazy catchy. Go you, Jamie.
