I love it, I love it, I love it

an ending in a way that would make Rick Riordan really proud, sweet to throw in some hints that the trip is not over and that Ren will be a huge thing going forward from now on.

I like the fact that it all came down to things we did not expect, that it was not about power and demi gods again, it was about truth and showing your true self and staying true to who you are.

I can't wait for the new series already

This one was pretty good, although I don’t remember the two books before it all that well. I’m just bitter because at one point Zane said some Star Wars costumes were dumb. I’d say that certain elements of this one were a bit too predictable, but not all. The characters definitely had some development. I like Louie and Ren. Overall a pretty good book, and I look forward to The Throne of Sand.

You don't know how much I missed those characters and this story (⌒▽⌒)☆
I took 3 years to get the physical copy of this book because I wanted to complete my collection os the series, and I'm really glad I read it physically because it's a different vibe okay? 😤
It's completely different when you know you're gonna love the book to have in your hands when you read it!

Anyway, I loved how the story is different but also it's connected to the previous books. I love all the characters (Zane, Brooks, Ren, Hondo, and everyone else, even the gods but except Ixkik and Zotz they can go both rot in hell). I loved the conclusion to the story while still leaving out a few plot points ready for other stories (like the rogue godborns and a story about Ren - aka The Shadow Bruja series).
Like they seem like plot holes and they are purposefully left open, it felt perfectly in balance (*´▽`*)

Honestly I love this story because I love me some good mythology and I never read anything concerning Mayan mythology before, so this series was a great introduction to it! ヽ(*・ω・)ノ

I will certainly miss those characters I spent so much time with and they grew up with me. I will definitely read these books to my kids one day! ♡( ◡‿◡ )
