Just incredible. One of the best books I’ve ever read, such a raw and powerful story but also laugh out loud funny! I love Marian’s writing so much

Another Marian Keyes book I enjoyed. It was not as great as a few of her other books, however I really got into Rachel's story. This is no fluff novel. Keyes dives into the realities of addiction and dare I say the modern world of alcohol and drugs.

This book brings to reality the real depressive and addictive state most youth are facing even today.

This is, I think, what good chick lit should be - light and fluffy moments with a meaty center that propels the action forward. (Okay, that sounds dirty, and I didn't mean it to, but I'm not changing it.) The use of flashbacks and tight first-person narration is used so well here, as the character changes and grows. I really enjoyed this. What is it that's so compelling about novels about addiction and rehab, beyond the voyeuristic thing?
