It’s ok guys, Cedric the dog doesn’t die! 
This was a quick read, not super scary but it was really interesting and enjoyable. I love Michelle Paver’s writing style.

I was not expecting to be emotionally devastated by this book, but holy shit it's actually really sad, as well as sufficiently spooky

I went back and forth on how much I liked this, but the ending was really tight and brought it all together well. The last section was terrifying.
