Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to like this one which is why I put off reading it for so long. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it!
I loved the concept - someone being accused of murder but they didn't actually murder one of the victims. Though she be a bit twisted, I found Ruby to be so likeable which is why I didn't feel like she was a serial killer of any kind!
Highly recommend this one!

I had so much fun with this. Short, engaging chapters that go from Ruby's (killer) childhood to her interrogation of her husband's murder, the one crime she didn't commit!
You can say Ruby is a female and more nuanced version of Dexter. She's also a therapist who empathizes with others and has a good understanding of herself and human behavior in general. She makes for a fascinating heroine.
I loved getting to know her and hope to read more by Sasha Rothchild!
