Damn. How this story takes you in. Melancholic and sad, but actually also - even more so - calm and beautiful. This will be a long time favourite.

No questions answered but I'm not mad at all, absolutely loved her style of writing. Insane concept. I wish I was half as competent as the main character.

Unlike anything else I’ve ever read.
Reading the first few pages again after finishing, it is a feat of the author to have so explicitly stated the ending in the beginning and still leave the reader surprised (or maybe that was just me)
I read an edition with an afterword by Sophie Mackintosh and I really appreciated her insights as I processed my thoughts about the story.
