The ending was of course amazing, but the rest of it was, ugh. So boring. The women are a bit less insufferable in this book though, Nynaeve especially is way better than ever. Of course there is a lot of Cadsuane though, so, eh.
One more slog book to go and then we shall see what I think of the final four books of the series. I have only read the last four books once, maybe twice each so can barely remember them and certainly don't remember if they are actually likable or not.

Arghhhhhh. This was okay for the first half, then it turned into a chore. Last chapter was the only one actually good, tho it made the forsaken look like clowns. I don't even know what to say except that I'm scared as fuck of book 10 and almost want to skip it

Great to see a character I loved return after an absence of several books.

Such an engaging climax that, even though I have read the book before, I was on the edge of my seat in excitement. One of the best endings of the series.

This book has a lot of boring seemingly pointless exposition. It appears that Jordan wanted to give more unnecessary characterization to side characters and demonstrate a few things that didn't matter. The ending is drastically relevant though.
