the way this book made me feel? literally frozen meets beauty and the beast meets the shadows between us. Holly rose is a genius who writes so so beautifully!

So good!

The perfect winter red full of revenge plots and slow - burn (VERY slow) enemies to lovers. This book was super short and fast-paced! I can't wait to read book 2

okay super basic beauty & the beast meets Frozen fantasy romance that's very redundant with mediocre writing, but i kinda loved the ending lmao

WTF SJJSJDJDJDJDJD THIS BOOK IS FUCKING AMAZING.
Holly did it again, she wrote another masterpiece. My god everything is perfect, the way characters are written, the way she makes us feel what the MC feels, the conflict, the confusion. I love how holly managed to not reveal much throughout the book and yet make it so enjoyable! This books comes out in 4 days, do yourself a favour and buy a copy!!!!!!!

‘I am a weapon, and weapons do not think. They do not feel. They only strike.’

Finished reading ‘Bride of the Winter King’ in one day.

A fast paced read about Adara who, captures the Winter King’s attention in order for him to choose her as his Summer Queen, all to deliver vengeance for her sister who was a Summer Bride.

I honestly enjoyed reading this book. It was an easy read and cannot wait to read the next book in the series because that ending was chef’s kiss. Did not expect how the author was playing with Adara’s feelings.

Overall it was easy to read, but the MC has a one-track mind and it gets old. I couldn’t help but feel bad for the winter king.

From the first page, I was hooked!! Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I wanted to know more and more! I was rooting for Adara while fearing she would be discovered. Everyone underestimates her. They tell her she'll never be selected, then she'll never succeed in her mission. And you know what, she doesn't care. She's is so focused. She's strong, she's smart and she's determined. I won't lie though, I was intrigued with the Winter King (Elaric). I wanted to know more about him, and while we do get bits and pieces there's still so many questions. Without giving spoilers, I got to the point where I wanted Adara to quit her mission and just give in and fall for him.
Full on fantasy, magic, mystery, swords, poison, ballgowns, and so many secrets!! This slow burn story will leave you begging for more!! Just be prepared for that cliffhanger!! It was perfect!
