this book broke me and helped me out at the same time. While i felt lots of joy and positive feelings while reading it, the ruthlessness and the downsides of the entertainment industry really brought a bitter and frustrating feeling at the same time. I feel like now i just understand it all so much better, with Larry and all - how business works. but i still can't judge and will never truly know what larry is and how it was handled at certain points. but it was impressive to see to what lengths the people in this industry will go. the story was sooo well-written and not overly dramatic or immature, i felt like i was part of their world. loved the book. since it was written in a pretty simple manner and it didn't shift me in ways other books have, it closely misses the 10/10 mark!
