Did anyone else’s soul leave their body when they read “he’s my cat now”?! No? Just me? Coolcoolcool.

I was already low key in love with Macalister in the first three books, so the fact that he got his own book gives me all the happy feels. Definitely read the first three books first and then dive in for all the redemption.

Cat feels aside, this book is **hot** and everything I wanted it to be. Daddy? Sorry. Daddy? Sorry. Daddy?

absolutely incredible! not as steamy as I thought it would be but the depth of emotion and feeling this book contained was amazing. Throughout the whole series I was always fascinated by Macalister and it was very interesting to see the difference between his obsession with Marist and his actually love for Sophia

Macalister was hot in this book. If you completely disregard who he was in the previous books, he can be likable here. He teams up with Sophie to help restore his reputation in exchange for him doing something for her.
These two have a dom/sub relationship they keep secret due to the fact she is half his age. The way he shows he cares for her and opens up to her is cute but again only if you put aside he used to put all his board members wives through the initiation.
Overall Book ⭐️⭐️⭐️
