Accessible, informative and anecdotal book about slower living and sustainability. Jam packed with recipes, resources and tips, this book is a great introduction to slower living and the different ways in which we can all implement this way of life into our daily lives. Absolutely loved this.

I liked the writing but I was expecting something different… I thought it’d be more of an actual year-long experiment. I did love the final sentence of the book though, ‘A simple life is not one devoid of pleasures, but one that makes time for them’. Overall I found it a bit slow-going & didn’t get many tips for my own life. Sorry!

Good premise (live simply without being silly about it) but the lack of self-awareness was frustrating and made her experimentation seem hollow.
